And they look pretty cool. Love the music! Kinda eerie, like in Riven. Just a question/recommendation: are there going to be product descriptions and information, on both hardgoods and livestock? And pictures. I know there are some photos in the gallery, but they don't really explain much. It's a bit more work, I know, but I think it's a way to get people more interested in specific products. Like if there's a picture of the actual specimen and brief description on the care required for a certain type of coral, a person would probably be much more inclined to get it.

I agree that photos and descriptions are the best way to get visitors to come closer to that purchase decision.

While it's difficult to have photos of actual livestock for sale, I do think that a photo of the species is excellent to have. I would guess the majority of new hobbyists initially have very little knowledge of species traits and shop almost entirely by visual appeal. (Lord knows I did at first)

eg "Excuse me, I am looking for a reef safe fish that is red, or that is blue"

And of course, check out the other successful online stores and incorporate the better ideas from their sites into yours.

You have hit the nail on the head!! That is also the reason that the livestock and drygoods sections aren't online yet.

What will be online soon:

Breakdown of each Family of fish/coral/invert
Picture of each with description, care and maintenance, feeding info, native location, etc.
Other important information (depending on species)
Purchase Button - :D
And a link to the Compatibility Chart

There will be more and more information in the "library" as time goes on.

Basically the same will hold true for the drygood section too. There will be a picture + description + link to the manufacturers site for all items.

Hope that this is what you were looking for...but just bare with us a bit longer as it is a LOT of information to upload, and it is very time consuming.

As I have said numerous times now...It will be worth the wait!!

Best regards,
