Anyone know anything about these lights?I picked up 3 of these lights the other day and was curious,if they would be suitable to use on a tank?It says on the back that they are to be used in wet locations.The buld in them is a 250 watt,not sure if there radium bulbs or not.I know one thing that they are very bright.

Pluff, you will find that those lights are very yellow in appearance:cool: once the spectrum goes through the water.

They look like basic halogen work lights. Great for working on your car at night, but pretty much useless for a tank. Sorry.

There are people who have taken the housing from those units and retofited them with hqi ballasts and lamps, but like has been said it will probably be way too yellow.
