Have you tried to log in again?
It asked me to log-in again as well...but once I did - all was fine.
Please let me know.
Thanks

What worked for me:
I got the message: You must login or register to view the ads. Ok. I selected login and everything worked fine. That was yesterday. Today I go and look at the ads and I get the same message….. grumble, grumble. So. I selected login and it worked, but this time when it came back I noticed a login screen with my ID and password (maybe firefox remembered?). At this point there was the check box that said 'remember me' as well. So. I pushed the login button on this screen as well. It said thanks and now it does not ask me anymore. :wink-grin

Try to clear your cookies for the site - and then re-log-in again.
http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/mycookies.php
If this doesn't work - then you cna also clear your cookies directly through your browser too.
This should help fix all problems with the cookies.
Please let me know,

It's not working for me.
I've tried deleting the cookies, and it worked for a few minutes, and then an hour
later, it wasn't working.

Seems there are still a few cookie issues with some people.
We have been in contact with the software companies - and are awaiting their review and advice.
We will have this corrected as fast as we can.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

Well, I've tried to clear my cookies and I've tried loading the page different ways; but I'm not having any luck. I don't know if it's just something that's going on and off, because sometimes it works, and others it doesn't.
I just get a page saying:
You must be a registered user to view ads!
To register click on the REGISTER button in the menu above.

AJ, I have an suggestion. When I was placing an ad couple weeks ago, I could not add a picture. Turned out that it won't take GIF format. I placed JPEG without any problems. I think that it would good idea to note that somewhere when placing an add.
Also like many people mentioned before it would be nice to see "location" field since many users don't say where they are from.

Thank you for the suggestions.
We are working to get the location listed - just need to hack the code some more.
Let me look into placing a notice for not using .GIF files too.
Thanks again - need all the suggestions we can get...

I have edited the templates to request JPG images only in the photo upload section.
I have addes the request to add your LOCATION/CITY as the first keyword when placing an ad.
Thank you,

I cleared my cookies yesterday?? and then re-logged in. Today I could not access the classified section. I tried to register and was told that I was already registered. Finally after getting the page that told me I had to be registered to view the classified ads a few times, I clicked on Log in. This took me to a page to log in for the classified (not the AP forums). I logged in and was thanked for logging in. That logged me out of AP so I could not browse the forums. I re-logged into AP and now I can view both the classifed ads and the forums.

I attempted to place a couple of ads last night and they haven't appeared at all. I didn't get an error but on one of them it asked me to log in again.
Any idea what could have gone wrong?

I think this is server or program setup problem not the cookies problem. I tried to clear all cookies, internet temp folder and relog-in but still experienced with classified section.

Tried again today with no success on a different computer.
After I submitted the ad it asked me to log in, which I did and still no luck
I cleared all my cookies before placing the ad.
I can see all the classifieds except for the ones I'm trying to post.
Any thoughts?

Ok Success at last.
I did two things on my last post attempt. Lowered the size of the picture file and registered with photopost.com. I'm not sure which one allowed it to work.
Anyways it worked.

This is weird I had posted a question to a seller in the misc forum and thought that they had not replied yet I was at work and logged on to the classified to find a reply on Sun came home and still only shows a sat post prior to my question
unfortunately I am leaving for 2 weeks tommorrow or I would help solve this issue

Did you use both methods in deleting your cookies?
Is this a new error, or has it always been like this?

I just tried to send a message in response to a Wanted ad. Even though the top says "Welcome vjvl51", I am told "Only registered users can contact sellers. Please · register so that you can safely contact other users."

I just logged in and spent 10 minutes entering my ad. After it finished uploading I was asked for my user name and password AGAIN which I entered and my ad was gone.

I had similar problems last night was well. Asked me to login when I was already logged in, then when I tried to upload my ad i had varying errors.
First it said page cannot be displayed. So I cleared out and logged in again to repost..then it comes back that there is a memory error...this happed 3/4 times.
Now, I can't find my post asking for my ad to be moved to the classifies.

I will be working on the server this weekend to try to rectify any remaining cookie issues.
I am very sorry for the inconvenience these issues have caused - and if I can't sort through them myself - I will bring in the tech support teams from the individual software companies to figure out and correct the issues.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,
Morgalis

This is for everyone that has posted regarding trouble.
Did you follow the instructions for how to COMPLETELY clear your cookies from the AP sites?
Every problem encountered up to recent postings was cleared up by the users correctly removing their cookies. Nothing has changed with the server configuration since I rectified the problems, so I request each person that has posted a problem to clear their cookies, attempt to access the classifieds again and post the result.
Thank you

I completely cleared my cookies following the instructions previously posted after the first time I had problems. In this case, I had browsed the classified without any issues until I wanted to respond to a wanted ad. Then I had problems. Once I had the error message, I could no longer browse the classified without logging on which removed the "welcome vjvl51" message and then logging on a second time which returned the "welcome vjvl51" message.
I hope this helps.

Did you clear your cookies according to this post (http://www.aquariumpros.ca/forums/showpost.php?p=97409&postcount=1)? If not can you follow both ways please?
Then try to respond to an ad again and let me know if you continue to have problems
