Maybe try adding a few drops of garlic extreme to brine shrimp or use a few drops of selcon either of those will REALLY attract your fish to the food.. I have both but my fish prefer the selcon when they are first introduced and are a bit finiky with their food.

try a smaller food like cyclopeeze. They are not raised on adult brine or flake usually so try the cyclopeeze or baby brine.

both are too big for most juviniles. try either mashing up the flake or get something smaller!

agreed. Depending on its size you may want to try cyclopeeze or baby brine shrimp.

try cyclopeeze, I have a young false perc that I feed it too, he really likes it. I had the frozen bar kind. You should strain its melt water out though, I think it has phosphates in it.
