Well gang,

I haven't posted in a while (been really busy), but while staring at my almost 1 year old Nano I noticed something extremely amazing...

I have a bunch of little white baby Nassarius snails all over the glass of my tank.

It's been a year and I must be doing something right!!

I'll try to grab pics.

Hello

Are you seeing egg capsules ( actually they are embryos because they are already fertilized)) or the snail themselves? The reason I ask is the chance of breeding Nassarius snails is very very remote. They have a swimming laval stage. During this stage they will requier large amounts of food most likely phytoplantion and no filtration, although possible very unlikely in almost all tanks.

Is this true of all snail species? The reason I ask is that my turbo grazers are carrying babies (about 10 each) on their shells and I have 50-60 baby keyhole limpets on my back glass. Mind you this was before I added a skimmer to my tank.

I've got a bunch of white snails on my glass also...but I'm not sure if they are nassarius or stromatella. Do baby stromatella snails look the same as baby nassarius?
And congrats.
