ok i have a 55gal tank running for 5 months now and my whole tank got ick so i bought a 10gal hospital tank...i wanna know if im going on the right track? i took out all the fishes out (1 yellow tang, 1 six bar angel fish, 1 flame angel and 2 small clown fishes) added them in the 10 gal tank with a power head, aquaclear filter and a heater and added my first dose of Cupramine 1ml today sep 22 ...cleaned my main tank ...now what else do i do.? how do i go about doing the rest...do i have to do water changes? how often? like i really wanna save these fishes so i would need a bit of help ...thanks

5 fish in a 10g? I'd say you have to do water changes. Keep a very close eye on water quality with that many fish in there. Test the water to see how often to do the changes.

Seems like you are on the right track but that 10 gal will keep you busy with water changes...from what I've read it will take a good six weeks before the display tank will be ick free...even then who really knows...keep us posted...were all the fish infected?

Have to agree on this one. Way too small for that many fish. I was lucky enough to have a 75 that I was selling, already set up. Prolonged selling it because I had to keep the fish in there for 6 weeks while I let the ick die off in the reef tank. Good luck with it all. I would recommend at least a 30 for hospital tank though. I'm picking mine up this week.
