Well I have to tell you, I am pissed at the owner of the store I work at I could SCREAMMMMMM.
She lits into us girls(5) about the death of a bunch of budgies! She says they died due to a lack of water and food for the long wknd(sat night-tues morning) BUT WAIITTTT.....SHE is suppose to be checking in on ALL the animals in the store during our days off! So where was SHEEEEEEE????!!!!!!! To make things worse(in my mind) i went to check on the fish and low-and-behold, 6 tanks with MAJOR dead fish. THey had FUZZZZZ on them! Which means they had been left dead in the tank for ATLEAST 2 days! So NOW we have 6 tanks filled with sick fish COVERED in ick! so if she dint take care of them, that also means she did NOT feed them! No food since sat morning and it is now tues morning!
Like HELLOOO woman....you tell me you take care of the store while we are gone but you proved you do NOT! And then to top it off she says that if anymore birds die due to the lack of food and water, the cost of the livestock comes out of OUR pockets, but wait...this gets friggin better!
We have a girl in there that has been working a wk longer then me and the boss has the friggin nerve to say,"I don't includes you because you are new" AHH helloooo so am I! And speaking of this girl, she did NOT do her job(clean,water and feed all sm animal cages and bird cages) on Sat before taking off, she was suppose to stay till close,6:00 but left at 1:30. OK so this girl is MAJORLY lazy and bums stuff off us girls ALL the time! She gets off on EVERYTHING, I am guessing she pulls her stupid con job on the boss and thats the boss problem not the rest of us. We pull that lazy *ss's load around that store!
My pay hours are from 9:30am-6pm.....and I start early,9:15am till all work and or customers are gone, which can take up to 630pm, I do NOT get extra pay for that and I KNOW that, nor do I expect or want more but I do expect more respect for being dedicated to the store. Costumers walk in the door at 6;55, we are NOT allowed to place up the "Closed" sign till 6pm on the nose, and we are stuck there till they are done! As if I don't have life besides the store.
Ya well ok I take part blame in all that mess and I understand that, apperantly it has happned before. If she takes one dime out my check like she said she would, I walkkkkk right out that front door, right after I tell her off, lord knows I do NOT need the money, I am there because I love the fish and the girls I work with!
Tomorrow is my one day off......I miss the girls and work already....
