Sorry for this being late, I had a bit of a holdup because I could find no info, so this week, is the pantherfish. This has been checked over and I am pretty sure it is correct. But if by chance you do see something wrong, post it here or pm me so I can put it up. Any comments or thoughts are welcome as well.

Other Names: Polkadot Grouper
Family: Serranidae
Size: 50 cm ("20) or larger
Latin name: Cromileptes altivelis
pH: 8.0-8.3
SG: 1.023
Colour: Generally white with black spots, but also light blue, light brown, and other tints mixed in.
Commonly bred: no
Compatibility: Will eat smaller fish.
Food: Live is best. Brine shrimp and krill when small, guppies and small goldfish when large.
Interesting facts: This huge fish is related to the Royal Gramma. Both belong to the huge family the sea bass. Sea basses range in size from a few cm to several decimeters.
Behaviour: Very hardy, but quite voracious in its feeding habits. Often though of as a saltwater cichlid, these fish may form bonds with their owner.
