I'm curious if anyone has run into anything like this. I moved all my fish to a 75 gallon QT tank due to ick. Of course, the cleaner shrimp stayed in the reef tank due to the copper treatment. Well, my 4-stripe damsel has taken on the cleaner shrimp's job now. The yellow tang will tilt his body, and the damsel comes over and picks off the parasites. Is this normal??? The two are the best of friends in the tank too.

That's so cool but definetly weird. I've never heard of a damsel doing that before however I'm fairly new to the hobby.
By the way love your saying as pay it forward is my favorite film!!!

ya, that was a wierd thing for the damsel to be doing. But unfortuneately, had to separate him and the tang. The tang was beating up my clowns.....so he went back to the lfs. As far as the "pay it forward", yes, that was an excellent movie, and kind of a standard I try to live by.
