Possible Job @lfs

So to make a long story short...I am doing a "on the job resume" today at our lfs, 9:30am-6pm.

I will let you know if I got the job...all the girls want me and so the owner agreed to "try" me out! Accompanied with the job means I also have to think managment....she needs one and her last one didnt work out(thank-god!!), none of the girls want the position but in time if all goes well, i just might take it!

Also if I do get the job I need to find a babysitter for a lousy 3hrs mon-fri for dh 3 youngest and my 16yr son a balking at me asking him....thats the hard part...getting a sitter!AARRGGGG

Ok so I am anxious here....I WANT this job!

Well Cory, I GOT THE JOB!!!

I started at 930am and by 3pm the boss(owner) signed me into to the register to work the till and at 5pm I was asked to begin Monday full time! They will be doing renovations come Sept-Oct to expand the fishroom, boy I can't wait, more fishies. My son cannot believe i didnt have to do an actual interview and that i was hired on the same day. I drove "my girl" Sharron crazy(she is the one who asked the boss to hire me) because I kept asking,"Ok i'm done , now what ?" But I told her IM not use to actual being at job(unlike home) and standing idle, to me there was many things to do but I didnt want to over step my boundries there. So I walked through the place and picked up things that were on the floor, organized shelves, and put things back to where they belong. The place needs to be cleaned up both in the front and on the back of the store....maybe I should work on the back, I will talk to Sharron and the boss lady(Suzan) and see what they think. Oh and found out ALL the girls were happy to find out the manager was NOT returning, the stories they were telling me was unreal. NOw the owner tried to engage me in a conversation about the x manager but I wouldnt go for-them 2 are friends and one thing in life I have learned, us girls quarrel over stuff but never dis anothers woman friend, UNLESS YOU are their BEST friened then you have that privilage!

Ok,well so I wont be around unless it's my days off, the store is closed in sundays, so everyone is off and I have to pick another day, I asked for Fridays.

I will have to do seminars on the cat and dog foods, everything she has in the store is ALL natural no additives. The boss is bringing in the "BARF" dog food, I can't wait for that, I have wanted my dog on BARF for the past yr, but much like alot of other people I was to lazy to make.. this will be pre made!
Ok so now I have the job, time to figure out he babysitter problem.......

Anyhow I have yapped on enough........

Great work Michelle, I expect you will do the store proudly. BARFing is a great way to feed...I do it with both my ferrets, and have in the apst with my dogs.
